Summer Work for Honors Math Classes

Instructions for Summer Work

Dear Future Honors Math Student,
     Please print the summer math work for the course you have just completed. These are problems from that course. They cover the material you were taught last year. Here are your instructions:

1. Work out all problems completely on NOTEBOOK paper or graph paper, using pencil only.

2. Put all work, including the printed out problems, in a folder, notebook or binder.

3. Answer all questions completely, circling or boxing in your answers. Remember that this is the first opportunity you have to impress your new teacher.

4. This work is due on the first day of class of the new school year. Please place a cover sheet in front of the notebook with your name on it.

5. Summer work will be worth approximately 1/16 of your first quarter grade. (If there are 800 points in your first quarter, this assignment is worth 50 points.)

6. There will be a deduction of 20% per school day if this work is late.

Have a great summer! Don’t throw away your old notes!
